Kill time and contact time | The kill time is the time it takes for the disinfectant to eliminate an agent or group of pathogens individually. Contact time is the time it takes for the disinfectant to remove all pathogens listed on the label. |
Product Safety | Are toxicity and flammability levels accepted in your environment? Are they compatible with the types of surface in your environment? Will you need to wear personal protective equipment when using the products? |
Ease of use | Is the disinfectant ready to use or does it needs to be prepared? Is the disinfectant in an effective form? Sprays and wipes are easier to use than other forms of disinfectants. Is cleaning and disinfection done in one or more steps? |
